Aural/Visual/Humorical

Available to shoot pretty much anything. I specialize in concerts and bands, weddings, and just about any other kind of event you can think of.

And they love me at Comic-Con and the Upright Citizens Brigade.

I also like to tell jokes and make little movies

I'm always looking forward to working with new people, so if you've got something in mind, shoot me an e-mail.

Greetings, Programs

Hey guys.

In news that will probably surprise nobody, I’m going to put the elecTRONica project on hold indefinitely. It really bums me out to do this, as I really wanted to see this happen, and I really wanted to give back to the community that I’ve felt so much love from these past couple years.

In the interest of honesty, I’ll let you know why I’m doing this.

I WASN’T READY.

I didn’t come up with the idea for doing this project until I got home after the night that The Grid closed for the final time. I was caught up in emotions and looking through the elecTRONica tag felt like getting a big group hug at a grief counseling meeting. So, wanting to keep the love alive, I decided to undertake a massive project (well, it was massive in my head) that I had done absolutely no planning for. I had shot footage at elecTRONica whenever I went, but I wasn’t shooting with the intent of making something serious with the footage. No tripod, no planning, no nothing. I was just shooting to have personal memories of one of the most fun things I had ever experienced. Once I decided to make a documentary out of that, I realized I had to do make this whole film about something that was already over. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach, if that makes sense. I’d love to be able to return to this project in the future, if Disneyland decides to bring back elecTRONica. I’m optimistic that they will. (Sidenote: I’m listening to the Tron: Legacy soundtrack and it’s making this harder to write, yet also giving me that optimism I mentioned.)

I’m not going anywhere. If anyone still has ideas for anything or ever wants to chat about elecTRONica or movies or Daft Punk or Tron or anything, feel free to hit me up! I’m all over the social networking game. I’ll post links at the bottom.

I want to definitely send a huge thanks to all the members of the Tronblr community, especially those of you who came out to California Adventure for interviews with me. I’ll keep the footage just in case this thing comes to light, in which case, you’ll be the first to know. I don’t see this as a failure. Through this project, I got to meet and talk to some really cool people, so that feels like a win to me.

elecTRONica lives

The trailers and teasers for a certain French nudisco duo’s new album have been getting me riled up about a certain documentary I’ve been talking about making for close to a year now.

I think I’m going to have a little something cool cooked up soon… ;)
